Possum Springs Campsite Destroyed

The Lower Hotham fire has also claimed Possum Springs Campsite just south of the Long Gully Bridge and Harvey-Quindanning Rd.

We believe that we have lost up to four campsites over the length of the Track.

We ask that everyone remains away from the closed sections of Track until it has been declared safe and the full extent of the damage has been assessed. The Track remains closed and will remain closed for many months to come.

Possum Springs Campsite was recently upgraded with much work done by Parks and Wildlife and Foundation volunteers.The campsite was originally built in Spring 1996 by Worlsey Alumina staff.
