With the end of #OutdoorsOctober approaching, the Foundation in partnership with Outdoors WA – OWA would like to extend our congratulations to the teams who have completed the Bibbulmun Track Outdoors October Virtual Hike Challenge.

Local organization Buddiup have joined the Track maintenance effort, taking on the section between Hewetts Hill campsite and the Golden View lookout at South Ledge.

In early October a team of Support Volunteers visited the Track in Frankland District between Conspicuous Cliffs and Parry Beach.  

BoorYul-Bah-Bilya is an exciting new initiative developed by Bibbul Ngarma Aboriginal Association that aims to address the global issue of declining river health by creating a new type of community catchment plan for rivers. 

We’ve teamed up with Outdoors October for this year’s Bibbulmun Track Virtual Hike Challenge…  so you can walk, run, ride, swim or even paddle your way “virtually” down the Track.

A team of 17 volunteers descended on the Golden Valley Tree Park south of Balingup to assist the local Friends of Golden Valley group
