Track Towns and Supplies
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- You could resupply in the track towns & stops if you're not fussy. I had a resupply box at home ready to send when needed & did not do so until Walpole. Even then it was the new socks & socks I really needed.
Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsWhat a great walk! Do not go straight ahead on the top of Mount Cooke. Ha! Fantastic track & facilities that is a credit to the Bibbulmun Foundation, volunteers & Western Australia.
Your Best Equipment
My tent which gave me privacy at campsites when I wanted it. My luxury was a small AM/FM radio that kept me in touch with the world & entertained on long restless nights.
Your Worst Equipment
None. I had everything I needed & nothing that I did'nt.
Advice for Others
Go with the flow & don't push your body too hard. Take the good with the bad & enjoy the walk.
