Track Towns and Supplies
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- I dehydrated & portioned all my own meals and posted them out to the various YHA or Visitor Centres. A lot of work but well worth it if you have the time! Supplemented food in track towns with protein/energy bars or extra Back Country meals (could soon easily devour a 2-person packet!)when needed once the hiking hunger set in about the 4 week mark! Highlights were my dehydrated hummus and spicy kangaroo biltong.
Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsSuch a wonderful walk to experience the changing habitats and land forms of WA. Heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers and DBCA staff who maintain the track and its facilities for all to share & enjoy.
Your Best Equipment
My Scarpa hiking boots! (also tried a Sea2Summit blow up micro pillow for the first time and it definitely endeared itself to me!)
