Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsThe track was what I hoped it would be: organized and well-marked, showcasing a variety of landscapes in Western Australia. Thoughtful to the needs of thru-hikers.
Your Best Equipment
Trail runners with lightweight ankle gaiters. They don't tire out the feet so you can go further, and the gaiters really help with keeping sand and debris out.
Your Worst Equipment
Hiking pants. Elected to use shorts instead to keep cool.
Advice for Others
Don't pack too much. You don't need as much as you think you do, and packing lighter will help your knees.
