Your Story or Advice for Others

General Comments
We had planned well and that meant everything within our control was ticked off before we left. The chance of not completing the walk due to injury or sickness was real so that was left to a bit of luck! The weather was warmer at the start than we had anticipated so the ability to be flexible and walk earlier was advisable. We used lightweight equipment to make the walk more enjoyable and that was an excellent choice as we never carried more than 14kg.

Your Worst Equipment
Everything we took we used. All of our equipment performed very well . No piece of equipment performed poorly. I would use the same equipment again.

Advice for Others
Plan Plan Plan. It worked for us ! Our food was all prepared by us ,dehydrated by us and it was delicious. We rotated through 6 meals and that was a good ratio. To sit down to a good meal was a big morale boost at the end of each day.
