Your Story or Advice for Others
General Comments1. Make sure you know WHY you are doing the walk then make decisions that support that purpose. 2. Slow down if you are able. 3. Listen to your body and adjust to suit 4. Make as many re-supply drops as possible at the start
Your Best Equipment
Sea to Summit quilt and Nemo sleeping pad - had the best sleeps and this helped with fatigue and injury management.
Your Worst Equipment
Aarn rucksack - the shoulder harness failed, the liner stained other equipment when wet and it was the noisiest bag I have ever had - it has been returned !!
Advice for Others
Go light, shed equipment early. Get fit as you can before the walk - if you don't then accept that getting track fit will take longer
