Track Towns and Supplies
- How many days did you stay in Track Towns? 10
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- Being Vegans, supplies were limited. We also carry fresh food for the first 4 lunches of each stretch, and found a couple places had limited quantity, of poor quality. Also many restaurants/cafes in track towns didn't cater well for vegans and we had to get creative in our accommodations for meals.

Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsBe as flexible as possible to allow for delays or rest days.
Your Best Equipment
Trekking poles - saved me from many a fall!
Your Worst Equipment
The newish shoes I had only worn on short hikes at home. Sent for my nearly worn out gardening ex hiking shoes to be collected at Collie.

You don't necessarily need to be super fit, but take the first week slowly if you are not. Your fitness and endurance WILL improve! Allow enough time for recovery days in Track towns.

Your Experience
- Availability of information: Good - We started Southbound from Kalamunda, reached Pemberton just after the track to Walpole was closed due to flooding. After much discussion we decided that the best chance of us finishing the E2E was to bus to Albany and walk north, hoping that the tracks would open by the time we reached Walpole. Lake Maringup and the Garner R bridge remained closed.
- Amount of Wildlife Encountered: Good - Father emu and chicks, tiger snakes
Coastal Tingle forests
Highlight of your trip
The inlets were easier than anticipated.
