Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsPlan but be flexible. Be prepared with gear, first aid, food etc - leave nothing to chance and have control over what you can, where possible, as sometimes variables out of your control will throw a curve ball. Walk your own walk and listen to your body, not others who are going faster/harder. Slow down if you need to. This could mean the difference between being able to finish or not.
Your Best Equipment
Ultra light gear (packs, sleep system etc) and our home made dehydrated meals.
Your Worst Equipment
Everything we took we used and loved
Advice for Others
Research and plan. Start this early! Do some practice overnight or sectional hikes. Travel as light as you can and get lots of rest/sleep at the huts overnight.
