Track Towns and Supplies
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- Always carry miso soup, instant mash and jelly babies. I earned several comments about my mini packets of snacks.
Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsAfter promising myself to walk the track that was in my own backyard rather than what was overseas, I finally pushed through my sectional End to End in 2017. I did longer stints on the track and quite quickly my end to end and Albany was in sight.
Your Best Equipment
My tent, solar lantern, Osprey pack, water bladder and Sea to Summit inflatable pillow. And a piece of Tyvek.
Advice for Others
This is a very unique track and the shelters become your home away from home. I am looking forward to more multi-day sections and meeting the Rufous Whistler at Warren shelter once more. Should you do a sectional E2E or even E2E use the BIB sheet/form to note your sections and dates.

Highlight of your trip
Paddling across the Irwin Inlet. Only one canoe and 2 people, strong current, many of us have done it and I can't work out how it is okay to walk on leaving only one canoe in the shed.
