Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsIf the only thing holding you back from getting out there is stepping into the unknown, then it is well worth it. After half a day you'll be feeling right at home!
Your Best Equipment
Marmot rain jackets. Only needed them a handful of times but they did the job and had us dry when we reached camp on our wet days.
Your Worst Equipment
Slow leak sleeping mat that I had purchased second hand. Bite the bullet and buy something that you can be confident in its quality and durability!
Advice for Others
clothes are deadweight. carry clean and dry items for in and around camp. Otherwise you will be fine with a single outfit to hike in. Your shirt will be standing up on its own at the end of some longer carries but you forget about it once you start walking for the day.
