Track Towns and Supplies
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- The visitors centers were amazing. They were fantastic about receiving our parcels and holding them for us. One amazing lady at Dwellingup even delivered our parcel to our accommodation when she finished work! Australia Post let us down though, one of our two parcels sent to Collie didnt arrive on time even though they were sent very early. Lucky there were plenty of supplies available to buy in Collie.
Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsI feel so lucky to have been able to complete this amazing walk with my boys (13) and (15). It was such a privilege to be able to get this amount of time off work to be able to complete the track. Thank you to all the people who are involved in maintaining this fantastic walk.
Your Best Equipment
Sea to Summit, Ether lite sleeping mat. Super comfy!
Your Worst Equipment
One water filter between three made for slow refills. We ended up not treating the water at all.
Advice for Others
Stop thinking about it, pick a date and do it! You wont regret it!
