Track Towns and Supplies
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- We sent food packages which worked out great for us. Everything arrived where we posted it. Got extra snacks in each town.
Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsLoved the track. The shelters were amazing. People we met along the way were amazing. The towns we stayed in along the track - amazing! So glad we were able to get a big chunk of time off work to be able to do the whole track as an end to end.
Your Best Equipment
Hiking umbrella. Umbrella was awesome - kept me dry without getting sweaty and it was quick to put up during sudden showers. Given it rained a lot (we walked June and July) it was invaluable.
Your Worst Equipment
I’ve done a lot of hiking and think I’ve got my equipment sorted. There wasn’t anything I took that I didn’t use or that performed poorly.
Advice for Others
Go for it! It’s an amazing experience.
