Event Recap: Feathered Friends Evening

Dr. Grace Blackburn captivated us with insights into how changing environments impact local bird populations and shared tips on creating bird-friendly gardens. This was followed by David Bruce, who engaged us in an interactive session about the birds you’re likely to encounter along the Bibbulmun Track, offering guidance on how to spot, identify, and document them.

It was a true pleasure to connect with fellow bird enthusiasts and share our passion for wildlife. A heartfelt thank you to our speakers and Birdlife Australia for collaborating with us on this event. We’re proud to contribute $375 from ticket sales to support their important work.
