Track Towns and Supplies
- Did you have any issues finding food/supplies? Yes
- It seemed to be an ever changing thing adapting to what my body needed as the walk progressed. That hiker hunger thing people talk about is real. Don't skimp on food. It will just tire you out and you won't enjoy yourself.
Your Story or Advice for Others
General CommentsThis is an incredibly well set up trail and my thanks to the BTF and all the amazing volunteers for all the work it takes to create and maintain such a high standard track.
Your Best Equipment
My coffee grinder. Ah, the aroma of fresh coffee...
Your Worst Equipment
A noisy sleeping mat. My thanks to Paddy Pallin in Perth for express shipping a quieter one so I could stop driving my hiking partner mad.
Advice for Others
It's definitely worth doing. Be flexible, adaptable and open to whatever comes and you'll love it.
