Dunny Donor Appeal
In 2012 the Foundation launched the Dunny Donor appeal to raise funds for the upgrade of Track dunnies in water catchment areas to an environmentally sustainable sealed vault design.
The Dunny Donor appeal raised a total of $40,600.
Donors of $500 or more are recognised with special Dunny Donor plaques which grace the door of every one of the 49 dunnies along the Track, making a welcome literary addition to an otherwise drab wooden door!
Many thanks to maintenance volunteers Jim Freeman, Alex Williams and Mal Cooper for installing them.
The dunny plaques were generously donated by Signcode, Interpretive and Environmental Sign specialists.
