Exploring Western Australia’s Natural Wonders

The Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) has recently released a stunning 327 page book showcasing 65 of the top national, regional and marine parks in Western Australia. This region-by-region guide provides information about each park’s history, natural attractions and how to explore the park. There is also information on the range of activities available to visitors to our parks such as bushwalking, camping and mountain biking, as well as stunning photographs throughout.

Both a useful guidebook and beautifully illustrated coffee table book, Exploring Western Australia’s natural wonders will take readers on a journey of discovery into our state’s parks – from those on the doorsteps of Perth to those among the world’s most remote in the far north.

Available from selected bookshops, tourist information centres and the Department of Environment and Conservation offices and the DEC online bookshop. The book retails at $39.95.
